For committing the quality, all UMEBACHI products are made in Sabae. Utilizing the advanced techniques of Sabae and traditional craftsmanship, we design products while caring about not only comfort but also texture and feeling.

Fukui, Sabae's world-famous eyeglass frames are completed through more than 200 processes in more complicated case. Each of these processes are based on the division of work by specialized factories and craftsmen. Thus high-quality frames are produced through strict quality checks and managements by the division of work within the production area. In addition, various mechanical equipments have been introduced to improve production efficiency, but many important processes are still carefully implemented by craftsmen's eyes and hands. This is because glasses, which are highly accurate and user-friendly, cannot be made by machines alone.

There are about 100 to 150 processes for cell frames and about 250 to 300 processes for metal frames .We apply specific and detailed process depending on the material.To achieve a high-quality finish, we pay attention to details and making things without simplifying anything.
